Sihman
Overview

An ankle sock lives or dies on its cuff height

Get the cuff height wrong and an ankle sock stops doing its job. Knit it a few millimeters too low and it reads as a no-show that vanishes into the shoe; a few too high and it creeps toward a quarter. The whole point of this cut is to sit cleanly just above the ankle bone, stay visible above the shoe line, and hold that exact height after dozens of washes. As a private-label and OEM manufacturer, Sihman Inc. locks the cuff height and the ribbing tension on your approved sample, then reproduces it pair for pair, so a multipack reads as one consistent product instead of a dozen near-misses.

Ankle heights we knit to spec

  • True ankle: sits just above the ankle bone, the everyday visible low height for sneakers and casual shoes
  • Low-cut: a shorter cuff that sits closer to the shoe line, between an ankle and a no-show
  • Low-quarter: a touch higher for extra heel coverage without rising to a full quarter

We confirm the exact measurement on your sample before bulk, so “ankle” means the same height across every size and every repeat run.

A low-cut line built for multipack volume

Ankle socks move in volume as footwear add-ons, basics multipacks, and athleisure sets, so unit cost and a repeatable fit decide whether the range works. We knit your logo, stripes, and brand colors straight into the sock as durable color rather than print, in combed cotton, moisture-wicking blends, or a softer bamboo tier, and hold that fit steady from a first run through repeats of 5,000 pairs and beyond. Production runs at a minimum tariff into the US and EU from our facility in Turkiye, which keeps the landed math workable at multipack price points.

Why the cuff line is the whole job

A low sock that slips into the shoe or shows when it should stay visible is a return waiting to happen, so the cuff line is the product. You supply the artwork and the brief; we supply the height, the construction, and the branding, and we keep them identical from your first order to your tenth.

Key features

Built to your spec

01

Low ankle height

Knit to sit cleanly just above the ankle bone, the ankle cut is the everyday low height that pairs with sneakers, trainers, and casual shoes while staying visible above the shoe line.

02

Ribbed stay-up cuff

A comfortable ribbed cuff holds the sock at the ankle without digging in, tuned to your preferred tension so it stays put through everyday wear.

03

Optional cushioned footbed

A terry footbed can be added for comfort and sweat absorption without raising the visible cuff line, useful for sport and athleisure ranges.

04

Reinforced wear zones

Reinforced heels and toes extend the life of a low sock that gets worn and washed constantly across casual and multipack ranges.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How is an ankle sock different from a no-show?
An ankle sock sits just above the ankle bone and stays visible above the shoe, while a no-show is cut lower to stay hidden inside the shoe. We produce both, and we will confirm the exact cuff height on your sample.
Which heights can you produce?
Ankle and low-cut heights are standard, each knit to sit cleanly at the height you specify. We also produce no-show, quarter, and crew if you want a full height range.
Can ankle socks carry our branding?
Yes. Even a simple low sock can carry knit-in logos, stripes, color blocks, and woven labels in your brand colors, durable color rather than print. We manufacture to your design.
Do you make custom ankle socks, or only stock styles?
Every ankle sock we produce is custom to your brand. As a private-label and OEM manufacturer we knit your logo, colors, and cuff height into the sock from your artwork. We do not offer design services, so you supply the artwork and we handle the make.
