A crew sock is judged after fifty washes, not on the shelf
The everyday crew sock is the highest-rotation item in most wardrobes, so it fails where buyers never see it at purchase: a welt that relaxes and sags, a heel that thins, a mid-calf height that drifts from pair to pair across a large run. For a basics or multipack program, that post-laundry durability is the entire reputation, and it is decided on the knitting machine, not in the artwork. As a private-label and OEM manufacturer, Sihman Inc. engineers crew socks to survive the rotation: a ribbed welt set to a cuff tension that stays up wash after wash, reinforced heels and toes, and a combed-cotton or blended body held to the same height from the first pair to the last.
Crew length, set to your size curve
“Crew” is a height band rather than a single measurement, so we lock it with you at sampling. Typical starting points:
- Cuff height: roughly 15 to 20 cm up the calf (true mid-calf), tunable to your range.
- Size breaks: EU 35 to 46 across two or three knitted breaks, labeled to your US, UK, or EU sizing.

A simple crew is still a branding surface. We knit your logos, stripes, and color blocks straight into the sock as durable color rather than print, add woven labels, and band multipacks in your own packaging. The make holds steady from a first run through the 5,000+ pair volumes that basics and multipack lines depend on, knit at a minimum tariff at our facility in Turkiye for minimum-tariff entry into the US and EU.
