A team sock that slides down by halftime is a kit you can’t sell twice
Every soccer sock lives or dies on one stretch of leg: the tall tube that has to clear a shin guard at kickoff and still be standing at the ninetieth minute. Get the rib and cuff wrong and it concertinas around the ankle by halftime, the guard shifts, and the club quietly switches supplier next season. The other failure modes are just as specific to the sport: a footbed that fails to absorb stud pressure, a heel and toe that blow out where cleats and hard cuts grind, and a color that drifts between the first delivery and the reorder. Sihman Inc. is a private-label and OEM manufacturer, so we knit each of those zones, the leg hold, the cushioned sole, the reinforced extremities, to your specification instead of relabelling a generic blank.
The grip-sock rule that reshaped team kit
Footless grip socks changed how squads dress, and many competitions answered with a rule worth designing around: the grip sock that shows has to match the color of the team sock pulled over it. For a kit supplier that means selling the two as a matched set, not two unrelated SKUs. We make both halves from the same color batch:
- Over-the-calf team sock: the full-foot tube, ribbed leg and fold-over cuff, cushioned footbed, reinforced heel and toe.
- Footless grip sock: the cut-sock with an anti-slip sole that players wear underneath, knit in the identical team color so it passes a referee’s check.
Order them together and the color, the branding, and the dye lot line up across the set.
Sizing built for a whole squad
Soccer is bought by the team, not the pair, so the size grid matters as much as the color. Our standard over-the-calf tube runs roughly 15 to 17 inches from heel to cuff and grades across two runs, so one approved design dresses an entire academy:
- Youth, junior squads (about U8 to U14): over-the-calf coverage on a shorter leg, scaled to smaller calves and shin guards.
- Adult, senior and pro sides: the full-length leg and fold-over cuff, carrying the same cushioning and reinforcement map.
Leg length, cuff height, and the size break are all set to your brief and locked on a physical sample before any bulk run.
What you supply, what we own
You bring the team colors, the crest artwork, and the size split; we own the knit construction, the color matching, and the quality control that holds them steady from the first 1,200 pairs through repeat runs of 5,000 and up, where the pricing is strongest. We do not run a design studio, so the artwork stays yours. Production sits at our facility in Turkiye and ships into the US and EU at a minimum tariff, which keeps the landed cost on a color-led, volume-heavy kit program workable season after season.
