Sihman
Overview

When the shoe is the test, not the shelf

A cycling sock lives in a punishing space: a stiff carbon sole underfoot, a tight retention strap across the arch, and hours of high-cadence sweat with nowhere to go. The pairs that come back are the ones that bunch under the strap, soak through on a long climb, or creep down the calf halfway through a ride. As a private-label and OEM manufacturer, Sihman Inc. builds custom cycling socks around that environment first: thin, fast-drying knits, mesh venting placed where heat actually builds, a compressive arch band that fights fatigue and slipping, and a low-bulk seamless toe that stays flat inside a race shoe.

Cuff height is the signature of a cycling sock, and it is also where the rules live. We knit clean, consistent heights across the whole run:

  • No-show: sits below the shoe collar for hot-weather road and indoor training.
  • Ankle: just above the shoe, the everyday club and commuter height.
  • Mid, around a 5 inch cuff: the modern road-race standard.
  • Tall, 7 to 8 inch: gravel, cyclocross, and the aero-cuff look.

Under UCI competition rules a sock cannot rise above the mid-point between the ankle and the knee, so we knit race ranges to sit within that limit and keep the taller cuffs for gravel, training, and lifestyle lines.

Branding that survives the wash

Cycling is kit-led, so the sock has to read as part of the brand at a glance. We knit your logos, stripes, and colors directly into the cuff and body in yarn, so the branding holds up to repeated washing instead of cracking like a heat print. Race, gravel, and commuter constructions are all produced to your locked spec at our facility in Turkiye, which ships at a minimum tariff into the US and EU. You supply the artwork and the ride brief; we do not run a design studio. From the first 1,200 pairs through repeat runs of 5,000 and up, the venting, the cuff height, and the color stay identical pair to pair.

Spec it, sample it, ship it

Send us the cuff height, the yarn brief, and your artwork, and we knit a physical sample before any bulk run, so you sign off on the real sock rather than a mock-up. Once that sample is approved, the same engineered construction carries straight through production and into every repeat order.

Key features

Built to your spec

01

Lightweight breathable knit

Thin, fast-drying constructions and mesh venting panels keep feet cool and move sweat fast, which matters for high-cadence efforts and shoe fit.

02

Compressive arch support

A knit-in arch band hugs the midfoot to reduce fatigue and keep the sock locked in place inside a tight cycling shoe.

03

Seamless, low-bulk toe

A smooth toe closure removes pressure points that matter inside stiff-soled cycling shoes over long rides.

04

Defined cuff heights

From no-show to the tall cuffs the peloton favors, we knit clean, consistent cuff heights that hold their shape and carry your branding well.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Can you match a specific cuff height?
Yes. Cuff height is a defining feature in cycling, and we knit to your exact spec, from no-show up to the tall cuffs favored by road riders, with clean, consistent results across the run.
Which yarns suit a race sock?
Lightweight moisture-wicking polyester and performance Coolmax-style yarns keep feet cool and dry for race lines; cotton blends suit casual and commuter ranges. We'll confirm the blend at sampling.
Can you knit our logo into the cuff?
Yes. We knit logos, stripes, and brand colors directly into the cuff and body in color, so the branding is durable rather than printed on.
Is there a maximum height for race-legal socks?
Under UCI competition rules a cycling sock cannot rise above the mid-point between the ankle and the knee. We knit race lines to sit inside that limit and reserve the taller cuffs for gravel, training, and lifestyle ranges.
